We are a group of T-Level students aiming to reduce the amount of people falling victims to scams world wide. It soon became clear that this was a serious issue In the UK with the majority of scam victims being within the age bracket of 16-21 year olds.
Our mission
We're on a mission to reduce the amount of successful scams in the UK and help educate those who were previously oblivious and therefore are prone to risk to scams by using real reports from previous scams attempted that had been stopped due to praxis
Our vision
We want to live in a world where people can live there lives without having to stress and panic about being scammed. 69% of victims report mental health impacts including depression, suicidal thoughts, and increased use of antidepressants, even if they get their money back. Source
How the app works
Praxis works by using AI powered scam protection to scan a screenshot sent in from the user containing the message, compares it to our database and looks for scam techniques based on the message contents and will notify the user then report it to our crowdsourced database to help improve itself and educate other users.
